What's New at AFC

2008 is looking like another growth year for AFC, both with commercial and luxury residential. Some of the highlights include:

• Completion of Piercy Creek Industrial Park, located at 2459 Cousins Rd. Courtenay, BC. This is a light industrial development of 8 strata units in the heart of the Courtenay. Sales of the strata units are good with a few units left.
• Completion of Shoppers Drug Mart in Highland Shopping Centre in Comox, BC.
• Enrolment in the Canadian Construction Association Gold Seal Certification program.
• 5 New apprentices in the Itac program.

2008 Strategic Goals

• Continue growth of the company while keeping environmental sustainable goals in the forefront
• Support the LEED and smart growth principles and programs
• Continue apprentice training and support
• Encourage a “sharp tools” work habit on all jobsites
• Continue to educate crews and sub trades with “work safe” policies
